ORMA is seeking applicants for the Communications Committee

Description:

  • Responsible for approving and monitoring all postings to the ORMA website
  • Manages ORMA website content update and modification requests
  • Provides editorial oversight on all external communications
  • Responsible for ongoing dialogue regarding internal communication, understandings, and agreements
  • Provides public relations strategy, advice, and implementation
  • Manages and tracks outreach for events and issue campaigns
  • Maintains social media presence on FaceBook, Twitter, and Instagram (with Tech assist as needed)
  • Develops news content designed to engage, inform and recruit ORMA members
  • Documents events with photo, video, and FaceBook Live
  • Design graphics and layouts for print and web

The Communications Committee seeks more members. We particularly need:

  • News editors (for monthly newsletters)
  • Graphic designers
  • Photographers and videographers for event documentation
