Ranked Choice Voting

To Revitalize Democracy, Remove Barriers to Voting

The revelations from the former Democratic National Committee interim chair Donna Brazile confirmed what many suspected: party leaders had chosen their candidate well before the primary process had begun.

Concerns about the integrity of our electoral system, was one factor that led to the formation of Our Revolution Massachusetts. At the state party convention in June, we fought for elimination of superdelegates coming from Massachusetts, as well as a Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) system. Both measures are included in the platform and RCV will be on the 2020 ballot. We support the pending legislation in the state house for Automatic Voter Registration.

Our goal is to revitalize democracy here in the commonwealth by supporting legislation that would increase civic engagement and remove barriers to voting. In addition, by supporting candidates who champion the needs of working class people over corporate interests, we want to bring new people and energy into the democratic process.

Our Revolution is proud of Paul Feeney, recently elected to represent the Norfolk Bristol district in the state senate, and enthusiastically support our endorsed candidates around the state in the November 7th election.
