Gubernatorial Forum on Intersectional Women’s Issues was a successful first for ORMA

On Saturday, April 21st all three Democratic Gubernatorial candidates met in Cambridge for a first of its kind forum on intersectional women’s issues. The event was moderated by Boston City Councillor Lydia Edwards who pressed the candidates to clarify their differences as to how they would advance the Commonwealth.

The forum was the first Gubernatorial event sponsored by Our Revolution Massachusetts (ORMA) and cosponsored by a broad coalition of groups, including MIRA, Mass NOW PAC, NARAL Massachusetts, CAIR Massachusetts, DFA, Amplify Latinx, and March Forward Massachusetts.

In advance of the forum, all three candidates filled out ORMA’s pre-forum questionnaire on Intersectional Issues and were ready to discuss the issues in greater depth at the forum on April 21st.  You can view a video of the forum and read their questionnaire responses here.

Your participation was vital to the success of the Cambridge forum and Our Revolution Massachusetts would like to extend an invitation to participate in a similar forum with the focus on Economic Justice. The event is scheduled for May 26 at Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, MA.
