Beware NPSM-7 “… investigations that begin with ideology and work backward to find crimes.”
|
What connects the arrests of 15 people in Minnesota charged with conspiracy to impede or injure federal officers, the conviction of one of 22 defendants of “antifa” terrorism in north Texas, the conviction of three anti-ICE demonstrators in Spokane, charges of conspiracy against six people protesting at the Illinois Broadview ICE detention facility, and federal charges against 40 protesters at a church in St Paul, Minnesota, where a pastor reportedly worked as an ICE official? The National Presidential Security Memorandum 7, (NPSM-7,) signed September 25, 2025 by the President is the legal rationale for all of these the charges. brought by the government. Called a rolling coup by former Senators Richard Gephardt and Tim Wirz, NPSM-7 expands the definition of domestic terrorism to include not only violent crimes like assault, but also relatively minor ones, like revealing the personal details of agents or getting in the way of immigration enforcement. The language of the memorandum targets Americans whose sponsors are labeled “anti-American”, “ aa anti-capitalist”, “ anti-Christian,” or “hostile to traditional American views on family, religion, and morality.” Former Attorney General Pam Bondi has testified that thousands of U.S. citizens and non-governmental organizations are now on a secret watch list tied to the Joint Mission Center created by the FBI to implementcarry out the intent of NPSM-7. The President’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, has publicly described political opposition as a “fifth column…” Bondi has released a Department of Justice operational order that includes a five- year plan for retroactive mining of data files and plea interrogations, along with athe requirement that financial donors be named. Gephardt and Wirz warn that the additional 100,000 detention beds above the current capacity of 70,000, far exceeding anything an immigration processing operation would require, are intended for political prisoners as well as immigrants. After killing more than 200 people across nearly sixty strikes on small boats designated as “narcoterrorists” without indictment, trial, or judicial review, the commander of the U.S. Northern Command has said publicly he would “definitely” execute lawful orders to apply this same authority on American soil. While the Trump administration has not yet been successful in bringing in large numbers of protestors on conspiracy charges, their efforts continue and will probably escalate before and during the mid-term elections. Our only reliable path to preserving our freedoms is to organize. Minneapolis’s resistance to ICE was built on the scaffolding of the community, labor, and faith-basedfaith based organizations active in theat city for many years. We need to come together to advance the social and economic justice agenda and also to create solidarity to resist an aspiring tyrant.

Right now, Congress is trying to sneak through a TERRIFYING new law to give the Israeli military unprecedented access to U.S. weapons and technology – and they’re hoping we won’t notice. Buried in the 500+ pages of this year’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is Section 224 – a provision written by lobbyists and Netanyahu himself that would all but fuse the U.S. and Israeli militaries, with practically no public oversight. It would hardwire our military support STRAIGHT into Israel’s ongoing campaigns of mass violence in Gaza and Lebanon – where tens of thousands of civilians have been killed or injured. Long-time Our Revolution ally Rep. Ro Khanna tried to fight it in committee – but it passed anyway. So now we have to stand with Ro and Bernie and take the fight to all of Congress to show massive opposition. Thousands of Our Revolution supporters are speaking out, and bipartisan concern is growing in Congress. Together, we can stop this backroom deal from becoming law and refuse to let our government be complicit in further atrocities. Send an urgent message right now straight to Congress. Tell your Representatives to REJECT Section 224 and demand public accountability before it’s too late. DD YOUR NAME

Teach! Reach! Preach! Good Trouble Lives On Weekend of Action will be here before we know it, and Indivisibles have already begun plans for the GTLO weekend, July 17-19. Indivisible Mass Coalition and its teams will cosponsor events with local groups and allies. Following the national theme honoring the legacy of John Lewis, we will teach, reach and preach here in Massachusetts. For details, you can watch the mass call recording HERE and register to host an event HERE.
IMC’s Racial Justice and Equity Team and Safeguarding Our Elections Team are collaborating on plans with allies and local groups across the state for this extremely important effort. They are looking for your input. Details will be made available when ready HERE, but check out some of what’s in the works:
On Friday, Teach Day, IMC’s Racial Justice and Equity Team will host a virtual screening of Love, Joy & Power: Tools for Liberation, the 2025 documentary about Black Voters Matter, followed by a panel discussion. Groups are invited to organize local watch parties.
Saturday, Reach Day, is all about hitting the streets to ensure our communities know their rights. Indivisible groups are encouraged to connect with others in their communities for voter registration and education. IMC would like to organize all-state virtual trainings and toolkits related to voting rights or to amplify existing voting rights trainings. Contribute your group’s knowledge and experience! Faith leaders take center stage on Sunday, Preach Day, as they share with their congregations the tenets of good trouble and protecting voting rights. To close out the weekend, a community gathering will be held on Boston Common. Indivisibles everywhere are encouraged to connect with faith communities and plan their own community gathering. Let’s unite communities across the state in this effort!
If you are interested in helping to shape these plans, or if your group is already on board and has plans or recommendations to share, we want to know! Please scroll down to the Teams Section below for meeting information, and send us an email at volunteer@indivisible-ma.org to let us know what “good trouble” your group is planning or if you’d like to bring it statewide!

DO NOT CAP INVESTMENTS TO PUBLIC SERVICES! The dark-money Massachusetts Opportunity Alliance (MOA) is still backing a ballot initiative that would tighten the state’s revenue cap, known as “62F,” and slash funding for classrooms, hospitals, and first responders across the state. What would this question do? The best way to defeat this ballot question is to do away with the 62F revenue cap once and for all. Contact your state legislators today?

“Bigger Than Dobbs: Stop the MAGA War on Women” is a statewide week of action organized by IMC’s Feminist Action Team to mark the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision and to highlight broader threats to women’s rights beyond abortion access. We are pushing back on the rollback of reproductive rights, which is part of the larger MAGA agenda affecting bodily autonomy, gender equality, education, healthcare, economic opportunity, and women’s participation in public life.

The Billionaires Lost In The Supreme Judicial Court
|
The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court issued a decision barring the proposed income tax cut ballot initiative from appearing on the November 2026 ballot because of its fraudulent ballot summary. This is a massive victory that will protect Massachusetts from billions of dollars in budget cuts. However the fight isn’t over.
