Electing Your ORMA Representatives – REMINDER:
Our Revolution Massachusetts Representative Council (RC) elections are fast approaching! Please see this page for details and the special election email sent earlier in the week.
For affiliate* members: Elections take place by Sunday, Dec. 17th. If your affiliate still wishes to send a representative, please contact ORMA by December 10th. You’ll need to send in a membership list of at least 10 people to qualify.
For unaffiliated members: If you are a member who does not currently belong to a local affiliate and you wish to run, please send a candidate statement to ORMA by Sunday, December 10th.
For Caucus members*: The Inclusion Team has assisted with the formation of seven caucus groups. These groups are eligible to elect a representative to ORMA and follow the timeline of the affiliate process. Join a caucus today!
Candidate statements and instructions for voting in the unaffiliated process will be made available on Wednesday, December 13th. Members who wish to discuss the candidates should join our Slack group and join the #unaffiliated-election channel.
*Note: this will not be the ONLY opportunity for your affiliate to elect a representative to the RC. However, participating now will allow your representative to participate in the first Coordinating Committee election.
Days of Action in Solidarity with Puerto Rico – The delayed response from the U.S. government, as well as the continued colonization and economic exploitation of Puerto Rico, has contributed to a humanitarian crisis and interfering with recovery efforts. Two events where you can help locally:
